Hi all,

 

There've been some conversations going on about a couple of things and I

wanted to solicit your input.

 

Reminders:

Many folks don't like the use of reminders for Calendar events... many

do.... To keep everyone from being overwhelmed, if you decide to use this

feature (and most people don't), please put only one reminder per event.

You may think this is very restrictive, but if it wasn't your event, would

you want to hear about it repeatedly?

 

Archives:

There was an early vote when the group was first established whether to have

our archives public (open to members/non-members) or open to members only.

It was decided that they are public (anyone can read our messages from the

website; you don't need a ID at all). Our membership has

grown alot since that first poll, and the majority may feel differently now.

If the archives were changed to be for members only, then they will not be

" public " (plainly visible) from the website. Only SFBAVeg members with a

** ID could log in and read them from the website. SFBAVeg members

without a ID would need to receive the digest or individual messsages.

 

Are people still comfortable with the decision about the archives? If there

is enough interest, we could have another vote. I'd do a zoomerang poll,

which doesn't require any special ID like , etc. to vote.
