Guest guest Posted June 6, 2002 Report Share Posted June 6, 2002 Despite the objections of some of the librarians, the San Francisco Public Library has decided to go ahead and offer Ringling Brothers Circus tickets as a prize option for its children's summer reading program. If you would like to express an opinion about this, please contact Susan Hildreth, City Librarian, 557-4236 or Toni Bernardi, Office of Children and Youth Services at the library, 557-4272. If you'd rather write a letter, you can send it c/o San Francisco Public Library, 100 Larkin St., SF 94102. The Chronicle has received at least 30 letters to the editor about this, but so far nothing has been printed. More wouldn't hurt!
