Guest guest
Silk makes a wonderful creamer that works as a substitute for cream - the picture on the front shows it pouring into a coffee cup, but I use it on the rare occasions when I need a heavier cream than regular soymilk. I've only ever seen them in the pint containers, but their website says they make a quart variety as well. There are also French Vanilla and Hazelnut Cream flavors, which might impart an interesting taste in baked goods. However, if this person cooks a lot of recipes which call for cream, you might want to suggest that they look into making them healthier and lower fat - even soy creams carry their share of calories and fat. -Kim " Colleen A. I am trying to become Vegan as much as possible. In recipes that call for cream, what is a good substitute?
