I'd disagree with you here entirely. Being pro-nudity, pro-pornography, and having done sex work, I think there's a massive difference between the notion that sex and nudity sells and explicitly insulting the bodies of the majority of the American populace (who happen to be " overweight " , for whatever reason...) Placing " traditionally attractive " models in an ad (as opposed to Plain Janes and Average Adams) is not the same as blatantly stating that one or several kinds of people are unsightly or " disgusting " . Granted, the statement may be implicit in some people's minds, but I'm a lot more comfortable seeing Helena Christensen scantily clad than I am with being overtly insulted.
