Admin: Bounced Messages

Hi all,

 

Another SFBAVeg'er just alerted us to this, so thought I'd pass it on. If

you're d to the list and are set to receiving daily or digest

messages, and a day or two goes by and you have received no messages from

the list, you might be a bit puzzled... perhaps more puzzled because you can

see messages on the page

 

If you have a ID, you can reset this yourself. Login to at the

groups page, go to " my groups " then email preferences (here is a shortcut

URL: /myprefs) and you'll see your bounce history

there and can reset it.

 

After we were alerted to this, we went and checked some of the history logs,

and there were several folks who'd been bouncing! After a few tries with

bounced messages, (not us) will stop sending you messages and

will not allow you to post to the list (you're basically d). We

don't receive any notification of this and it's not something that we

usually monitor.
