Hi everyone, Andrea, I'm the one who posted to the list (/message/1020) about the vegan passport. Although I had never used it, it seemed like a timely reminder about it for summer travelers. Thanks for writing back and letting us know how useful it has been, and providing the link where you got it. I think it's great that you used information from this list and it made being a veg*n easier. We are truly a list with " international " presence now :-) From other posts I've received, I know we have members in Germany and Canada too. Now Japan! This just goes to show how helpful it is to share veggie info, especially when its local resources. You may think everyone knows about it, but maybe we don't. Or maybe we are new to the area, or new to vegetarianism... Cheers, Tammy P.S: f anyone wants to look up past posts, go to the SFBAVeg groups page at and you can use the search box. -- mail2web - Check your email from the web at http://mail2web.com/ . Guest guest
There is a vegan sushi place here in Berkeley. The name escapes me. Their menu explains that they follow a 13th century Japanese tradition. Maybe you can find a similar place over there. tony On Monday, 24, 2002, at 06:16AM, Andrea <jaigopalkaur wrote: >Hi All, > >I'd like to introduce myself -- I'm Andrea, 29. Guest guest
Are you thinking of Cha Ya? If not, please pass on the name of the restaurant. I'd love to know!
