Guest guest
Please reply directly to Angela Toft at angelatoft or 213/480-6795. Yesterday I rescued a very sweet one-and-a-half year old purebred Sharpei who happens to be blind. The owner was dropping him off at the local pound, where he would be put down immediately. I took the dog to my vet, where he is now being boarded. Unfortunately, I cannot take him home with me because I do cat rescue/adoption and know absolutely nothing about dogs. (In fact, I'm a little afraid of them.) I can only afford to board the dog for a few days, so am desperate to find placement. (My sole source of income is Social Security, which doesn't go too far.) The dog was extremely sweet and happy-go-lucky when its owner was present. Unfortunately, it is now very afraid, being at an unfamiliar kennel with people it does not know. His name is Mylo. He was apparently raised with children and a Dalmatian. He was born in October of 2000. He is medium-sized and light brown in color. I paid for his vaccinations and rabies shot in order to board him. I am desperate to find placement, and would be happy to sponsor the dog until he finds a permanent home. If you can help, please contact me as soon as possible. Thank you.
