(Admin) Vacations, Subscription options, Bouncing & Polls

Hi all,

 

Just some information to keep handy to help you with your SFBAVeg

list membership.

 

If you'll be away for summer vacation, etc., and want to temporarily

(or permanently) change your subscription options, this note will

tell you how to do it.

 

If you receive SFBAVeg at your work e-mail address, and you're

putting an " out of office " message on your email -- PLEASE remember

to go " nomail " on our list! If you don't, you'll be sending your out

of office message to everyone who posts to the list.

 

If you are away for an extended period of time and your mailbox fills

up and rejects new messages, will automatically put your

membership in bounce status which basically means you're no longer a

member. To be reinstated, go to the Email Preferences section of My

Groups to do it.

 

Here's how to change your subscription options with a simple e-mail:

 

-Switch to no-mail: -nomail

No-mail means that you won't receive any messages from the list but

you can read everything on the website AND post to the list.

 

-Switch to daily digest: -digest

Daily digest is one message, a digest of all the individual messages.

 

-Switch to individual messages: -normal

 

This information is at the bottom of every message.

 

And, just for fun - take our Polls! This feature is only available

to SFBAVeg members with a ID. There's some fun ones out there!
