Guest guest
We found this group by accident. Let me introduce ourselves. We are yoga practitioners (Ananda Marga yoga) and are vegetarian as consequence of your yoga practice. Our yoga names are Krsna and Shaelaja. The kids have been vegetarian since conception. On the other hand, I have been vegetarian for 27 years while my spouse has been so for a little less than that. In our yoga practice, foods are classified as : * sentient - good for the mind and body ; ex : most vegetarian food * mutative - good for body OR the mind but indifferent to the other ; ex: coffee * static - bad for the mind and body ex: (you guessed it) meat In our yoga practice, we do not eat garlic, onion and mushroom. But we can take milk or milk products. The Ananda Marga yoga society believes in the spiritual development of the Self and service to humanity. We have collective meditation in our house in San Pablo every two weeks. After which, we have a vegetarian potluck dinner. If you are interested in doing meditation with us and thereafter celebrating the vegetarian way, send us an e-mail if ever your are in my area of the East bay. Krsna/Shaelaja and family.
