Guest guest
I am vegetarian, and thought I can get some great idea on health issues, recipes, and make new friends thorugh this group. However, I am extremely disappointed that out of so many messages I have seen, there are more 'animal right' than vegetarian articles/postings. Com'on, humans do not start eating grass because they love animal. I think there are much more apparent reasons to become vegetarian. One of the key is that meat-based food is a great inefficient distribution of resource. In modern countries like USA, where we consume tonnes of meat, the ecology is compensated by millions of poorer population that has a meatless diet (they cannot afford). If everyone in the world is heavy into meat, we will be out of resource and all of us dead meat ourselves. Health - Feel better, live better http://health.
