Hi veggie friends,

 

Welcome to all our new members! This is definitely a wonderful place /space

to meet more veggie people. I think especially as people are doing intros,

it will help us to locate other veggies that may live or work near us...

 

Loretta, you are in the right place!! This is for folks of *all* ages. I

do recall there was one intro last month that wasn't the typical

twenty-something /message/1475 ...

 

We have a poll question about age:

 

0 to 21 -- 4.08%

22 to 30 -- 32.65%

31 to 40 -- 38.78% <==== I'm here

41 to 50 -- 14.29%

51 to 60 -- 8.16%

older than 60 -- 2.04%

 

Since only 49 out of 420+ people have answered, it's not really

representative...

Hi - I just joined and everyone (not surprisingly) seems to be quite young.

I am 65 year old

woman (youthful, however - veggie diet helps!) and came to vegetarianism

from concern for plight

of animals. Would like to participate in dinners, hikes, but feel

anachronistic. Anyone else in
