Introduction and Vegan TV Request

It is great to see so many people posting introductions!

 

I am 29, single and have lived in San Francisco for 4 years. I

ate vegetarian on the drive here from NY (travelling with a

vegetarian) and figured that if I could be a vegetarian on Route 80,

than I could be a vegetarian anywhere. I became vegan 2 years ago

mainly for ethical reasons, but I also feel a lot healthier.

I work as an accounting consultant, tour guide, and teach english

and computers. This year I became interested in video production and

since March I have been producing a show(Vegan TV) on public access

San Francisco, Channel 29, every 2nd and 4th Monday at 10:30.

Vegan TV is a mix of activist interviews, documentary's, comic

skits and investigation video's. I think that video is a great non-

confrontational way to present the benefits of vegetarianism, to

speak for the animals and to show the true way that animals are

treated in our culture. The video's can be pretty graphic, so I try

to balance it with comic skits and inspirational stories to make for

a positive television experience.

(production assistance, co-hosting segments, show ideas), email me

Also, if anyone would like to produce their own show on public

access, it is a great place to present alternative messages and

stories that the mainstream media won't cover. It is very easy to

sign up for a show and I can help out providing investigational

video's/ educational video's with various level of entertainment/

graphicness depending on your interest. There are a lot of great

video's produced that don't get the attention they deserve from the
