Slanderous allegations

Dear " plcohon " ,

 

I assume that you meant no harm by pretending to be an attorney,

specifically a stupid or dishonest one. However, your act is not only wrong

and possibly illegal, it is dangerous in that it contributes to distrust of

lawyers and the legal system. Most anti-lawyer attitudes are formented by

corporations, who understand that the law and lawyers are often the only

protection common people have against corporate power and malfeasance.

 

Many people are unaware that to become a lawyer in California requires

passage of a comprehensive moral character background check, an ethics exam,

finger-printing, and an oath to uphold the Californian and American

constitutions, in addition to the educational requirements and passage of

the three-day bar exam.

 

Congratulations to the lawyers at the Vegetarian Lawyers Action Network and

Attorney Harish Bharti for their win against McDonald's.
