Guest guest
Dear Cathleen, This is so brilliant! I can't wait to see the guide you've created. Thanks so much for taking this on. I'm really excited that we have 450 people on , all of whom like to eat, and all of whom likely have some unique insight into veggie options at Bay Area restaurants & places to find vegan desserts with coffee, soy milk, veggie groceries, and so on. What better way to build a comprehensive resource guide than employ the knowledge of 450 dedicated vegheads? " So I started to patch one together from several lists and it's in a draft stage. I'm thinking I may just post the unfinished draft to my web site, and anyone who's willing can contact me with corrections, suggestions, and so on. Whatever I end up with will be a single page, printed on both sides--either a trifold brochure or folded in half. It will include (not cover inclusively, however) restaurants, stores, organizations in Berkeley, Oakland, and SF. Anyone who wanted to could use it as a starting point and alter it in whatever way is most useful for your own purposes. Seems like South Bay people could adapt it by adding South Bay listings and dropping East Bay ones, etc. You get the picture. I was just very happy to hear the person in charge agree to something that could be in the library year-round. I'll try to get to this within the next few days. What I post, as I say, needs corrections, but once finished maybe it will be helpful to someone somehow. Hope so! Cathleen *Tell your friends to Be-A-Veg with SFBAVeg!
