My analogy is, > " I'm totally sober from all intoxicants, but I drink > beer. " > > Caitanya This is the start of an interesting discussion. I have some vegetarians/vegans friends who consume wine/beer and use marijuana. I think this sheds light on why people adopt the vege lifestyle. If one adopts the lifestyle for 'animal rights' reasons, wine/beer/liquor/marijuana is quite OK. If one adopts vegetarianism for spiritual reasons, like a yoga or 7th day adventist, ANY intoxication is a no-no. Did I stir up a hornet's nest here ?
