Mark your calendars now for a fun-and-food-filled day on Saturday, August

24th, at 11:30. Let's celebrate Summer with Contra Costa Vegetarians and

SFBAVeg! Join us for an Outdoor Food Party & Picnic on the grassy field by

Lake Anza in beautiful Tilden Park in Berkeley. In addition to vegan food,

friendly veggies to chat with, there's also swimming as well as miles of

great hiking trails available. What about games, too?

Contra Costa Vegetarians host a monthly dinner in the Walnut Creek area. It

is a vegan meal, and everyone brings something to share. To join their
