Guest guest
Because of the pesticide use etc... many areas are now devoid of bees save what are brought in by bee keepers (usually hired by " farmers " to have their crops pollinated) Also Tammy if you think ants in you house are a problem.. wait till you get a bee hive in your attic? Many hobbyist bee keepers such as one I know can come in handy then. My solution for indoor ants is food grade (not swimming pool) diatomaceous earth it works like razor ribbon fence on a small scale. (Using dust proof gloves or a bag spread a little around where they are coming in) It was the only way I was able to beat a major whole house flea infestation (a messy more complex task involving lots of dust, masks, gloves, goggles, furniture moving, a couple of days out of the house, and a vacuum cleaner). Bees and bee keepers may be in a relationship, much like, endangered species & zoos: an unfortunate but necessary symbiotic relationship due to environmental pressures.. I am an oxymoron: a vegan who sometimes uses products with honey in them: Baklavas & sugar cones. Before you start casting stones. I was the one who pointed out in more than one " vegan " restaurant that the ginger beer they offered had honey in it
