¿Que tal amigos?

After some time off, Flacos is proud to bring back to the Bay Area

our exclusive traditional Latino-Americano Vegan Cuisine.

Tired of going to Mexican restaurants and only being able to order

burritos?… we were too. That's when we decided to make food

like abuela (grandma) used to make (you be the judge). Using recipes

that have been passed down from generation to generation, Flacos has

finally created the ultimate… Vegan Mexican food! Eventually we

will be offering other delicious treats as we grow.

Please feel free to forward this to your friends, coworkers and

family who would like to try one of our delicious hand-made, organic

(produce permitting), vegan tamales!

This week we will be offering two types of tamales and one type of

flauta (taquito):

Mexicano Tamale: Veggie chicken cooked in a tasty chile sauce, black

olives and potatoes placed in corn masa and steamed until just right

inside a corn husk!

Central Latino Tamale: Veggie chicken cooked in a delicious chile

sauce, green olives, potatoes and capers placed inside corn masa and

steamed to perfection inside banana leaves!

Prices - $3.00 per tamale. Don't be fooled, these aren't your average

size tamales! Salsa, sour cream(vegan)no charge.

If you would like to pre-order half a dozen or a dozen, or need more

info, or have a comment, reply to this message or write to

miflacos.

As usual, Flacos looks forward to seeing all of our friends this

Saturday (and every other Saturday after) at the Berkeley Farmers

Market from 10am-3pm at Center Street and Martin Luther King Way in

downtown Berkeley. One block West from the Downtown Berkeley Bart

Station.

Salud,

Flacos Staff

OMG that sounds awesome!

So this is not a restaurant you are describing? Catering? Grocery store deli

items? Or is the

farmer's market the only place to find the food you describe? Sorry if this is

obvious or already

covered, I am new to this list.

Sorry, no restaurant, yet... but, we do cater parties and events all

over the bay area. Our items can be taken " to go " from the Farmers

Market where we actually cook the items to order (very fresh!). Yes,

we are only at the Berkeley farmers market every other Saturday. if

you would like to pre-order any amount, just e-mail us at

miflacos and then pick them up at the market on Saturday.

Hope this answers your questions?? ...see you there!
