Guest guest
I haven't tried the tamales, but the taquitos are yummy! --------------- After a long hiatus, Flacos is proud to bring back to the Bay Area our exclusive traditional Latino-Americano Vegetarian Cuisine. Please feel free to forward this to your friends, coworkers and family who would like to try one of our delicious hand-made, organic (produce permitting), vegan tamales! This week we will be offering two types of tamales and one type of flauta (taquitos): Mexicano Tamale: Veggie chicken cooked in a tasty chile sauce, black olives and potatoes placed in corn masa and steamed until just right inside a corn husk! Central Latino Tamale: Veggie chicken cooked in a delicious chile sauce, green olives, potatoes and capers placed inside corn masa and steamed to perfection inside banana leaves! Prices - $3.00 per tamale. Don't be fooled, these aren't your average size tamales! Salsa, no charge. If you would like to pre-order half a dozen or a dozen, or need more info, or have a comment, write to miflacos. As usual, Flacos looks forward to seeing all of our friends this Saturday (weather permitting) at the Berkeley Farmers Market from 10am-3pm at Center Street and Martin Luther King Way in downtown Berkeley. One block West from the Downtown Berkeley Bart Station.
