Guest guest
I'm 24. I've been a full vegetarian for about 8-9 years, but in the last couple years I've had bouts of fish eating (I'm currently having a bout of fish-eating). I don't feel great about it, but sometimes I feel the need for something very solid. I'm not of the school of thought that believes vegetarianism is necessarily the best diet for everyone (Did you know the Dahli Lama eats a little meat? I read so in his autobiography. He does it for his health. I think he has some kinda condition.) Anyways, if the fish hasn't yet disqualified me, I'd like to join this group. I'm a recent college grad- International Studies major w/ Japanese minor. My interests are flying planes (I'm a pilot, but I don't do it professionally...yet), rollerblading, reading, etc. I'm from the Midwest, so I really appreciate the great vegetarian food the BAy Area has to offer. I especially love it when I go to a Chinese or Vietnames restaurant, and they have tofu versions of the popular meat dishes. Well, hope to make acquaintance with some of you!
