Vegan ice cream at Baskin Robbins / Ben & Jerry's

Hi all,

 

Viva! has received positive communication from Baskin Robbins and Ben &

Jerry's regarding their interest in having vegan ice cream flavors.

Basically, they want to know if there is consumer demand for it. So let's

demand! Once non-dairy ice cream is more accessible/more convenient, more

people will eat it, which means less suffering for the cows and more options

for people who don't eat dairy for ethical & health reasons.

They must be sort of slow. It doesn't take an MBA to notice Tofutti, Rice Dream

etc. in every

supermarket, at least the ones that I happen into. But I don't get off the west

coast much so it

may be that the middle doesn't see them...

 

But I know, pointing that out's not going to help, I'll call them...
