Reminder--Saturday Picnic @ Lake Anza, Berkeley

Our " Grass and Lake " Picnic is this Saturday, 8/24! It will be held on the

Grass in front of Lake Anza in Berkeley, hence the name.

gathering at 11:30 for a noon eating time. Hey, if you have a new vegan

recipe you'd like to " animal test " on a willing audience? This is your

opportunity! This event is jointly sponsored by SFBAVeg and Contra Costa

Vegetarians. But you don't need to be a member of either group to attend,

all you need to bring is yourself and a vegan food dish to share!

 

It's not necessary to RSVP to attend this event. If you can make a cake

(we're celebrating Erin's birthday!) or are definitely planning to come,

it'd be nice to know in advance so we have enough tables to hold all the

food :-) We're planning to have 2 card tables and we'll have canopies/signs

so you can see us. The set-up will be similar to the 4th of July

Bring your hiking shoes or swimming gear as there's opportunities for both.
