Guest guest
Hulu House Vegetarian Restaurant 754 Kirkham/12th Ave close to the N Judah bus open every day 11-9pm It is in the middle of no where in the Sunset district. The most expensive item is $6.50 Lapsa which is a Singapore/Burmese sour & spicy curry soup. They also have Wonton Soup $6.50, Samosas $3. I haven't tried this place yet so I can not give you a review of the food. Since the price is right, I think a lot of young teenagers will hang out here. --- Mango Bay Restaurant, (to be reveal later in Sept 12), location on 3rd and Market, Grand opening on Sept 16 will feature 2 for 1 special lunch. The Young handsome Filipino owner, Barry said he will promise more vegetarian entrees. Entrees such as Fresh Lumpia, and Adbong Kangkong (spinach) dish. Traditional Philipino recipes contain full of pork fat, grease and sausages. I personally went to Philipino restaurants where the ONLY vegetarian item available is white rice. (worse experience than going to a steak house) Even though it's a mixed restaurant, he will try to be one of the first restaurant to serve more " healthy " Philipino food with a bit of an Asian Fusion. I will try to organize an all vegetarian luncheon at this restaurant after it opens.... maybe at 50% off HotJobs - Search Thousands of New Jobs http://www.hotjobs.com
