Guest guest
Announcement for the list: PLEASE JOIN US on October 2nd (Gandhi’s birthday) for the 20th annual World Farm Animals Day (http://www.WFAD.org). Now observed throughout 20 countries, WFAD is a day of activism dedicated to exposing and memorializing the needless suffering and death of 45 billion innocent, sentient animals in the world’s factory farms and slaughterhouses. This year’s observance is co-sponsored by FARM, In Defense of Animals, PETA, Farm Sanctuary, Animal Protection Institute, and Vegan Outreach. This year, we are asking each of you to expose these atrocities in the streets of your communities with graphic documentary videotapes beaming from a TV/VCR mounted on your table, car or van. The videotapes are free and we will provide instructions for assembling a video rig. Other types of events are also possible so check out our web site for more information. Please note: although the official observance is on Wednesday, October 2, you may schedule your event(s) any time between September 28 and October 6. PARTICIPATING IS EASY!
