Guest guest
Hi All, I'm new to the list. I'm a vegetarian. I've had eggs and dairy products but of late I've not been having eggs/dairy and started having lots of raw foods, salads and fruits. I started feeling tired and one of my friends suggested that it could be because I'm consuming enough protein and my blood cell count could be low. Are there any FAQs to read on veganism and nutrition. Are there other sources of protein besides tofu? Thanks for your help. Naga.

Guest guest
Naga, Staying a Healthy Vegan, an article I've written for Vegan Outreach, explains all of the things vegans should generally be aware of. It's at: http://www.veganoutreach.org/health/stayinghealthy.html/ Raw foods (except for avocados and nuts), salads and fruits tend not to be very high in calories. You might simply be needing more energy. The article talks about other possibilities.
