Looking for veg housemate/hiking partners too

Hi,

 

I just joined the group and look forward to meeting new like-minded

friends. I thought this would be a good place to announce that we are

looking for a new housemate to share our house in central Berkeley.

Available 10/1, possibly earlier. Woman wanted. One room for rent to

share beautiful two story 3 bedroom, 1 bath, craftsman style house in

pleasant quiet neighborhood in central Berkeley. Easy walking

distance to UC, downtown, theaters, restaurants, bookstores, Farmer's

Market, Berkeley Bowl, Whole Foods, Andronicos, Bart, bus lines,

park, community swimming pool. House has beautiful wood features,

hardwood floors (bedrooms carpeted), large light-filled kitchen,

dining room, and living room, fireplace, washer/dryer, porch, small

lovely garden in front.

 

We are a woman, 44 (not veg out of home), works for small non profit,

a man (vegan), (not a couple), 48, documentary filmmaker/photographer

working on politically and culturally oriented projects.

 

We are looking for a friendly, mature, communicative, responsible,

stable, vegetarian preferred (in the house), non smoker who is

respectful, compassionate, fairly clean and quiet. Politically

progressive, eco and energy conscious. Good and irreverent humor a

plus.

 

Currently there are no pets. Sorry, no dogs, but a cat may be negotiable

 

Rent is $775 (yes we know).

backpacking excursions around the Bay Area, in the Sierra, the
