I don't think any sort of 'special connection' at

Kellogg's Morningstar Farms in order to get an answer

to the question you posed.

 

Someone simply needs to be literate (to read the

back of one of their packages) and resourceful (to

pick up a phone & call a WATS line).

I just confirmed this same invitation is on the

outside packaging of numerous other Morningstar Farms

products that I have stockpiled in my freezer.

 

 

My guess is that egg whites aren't used as part of a

diabolocal conspiracy to deprive vegans from certain

Morningstar Farms products, or to deliberately to

build extra revenue in the poultry industry, but out

of taste, texture & consistency concerns. They could

also reach a larger market by lowering the prices 50%

(just like PETA could on their membership costs), but

the line has to be drawn somewhere, with prices as

well as ingredients.

 

But who cares about my guess -- any of those

literate, resourceful people who are curious about the

matter can get an answer from Morningstar Farms,

without even having to sleep with Tony the Tiger!
