Mmm...almond butter, cashew butter, macadamia butter...so yummy & very filling. Snacking on nuts works for me, too. Of course, there are endless variations on the theme of rice & beans, using different varieties of beans, lentils, & grains. Coconut milk is fun to cook with & filling, yams are delicious, mmm...plantains - can you tell I just love to eat? I've been a vegan for 8 or 9 years now (vegetarian for 21), and love it. I eat whatever I want and never worry about weight gain. Also, I almost never get colds or flus anymore. Good luck! Josh Thu, 5 Sep 2002 19:13:09 -0700 <meghanmail filling foods? Hi there, Can you all please recommend your favorite filling vegan foods? I decided that my month of veganism would begin on Sept 1st. So far, so good! But I find I'm really hungry a lot of the time, and was wondering about what I could eat to feel full. ( I also need to eat more regularly! My body is confused.) Also, any help with vitamin suggestions would be most welcome. I'm currently taking none, and I know I should be.
