Hello everyone,

I would like to propose an event for world veg day/world farm animals day

Oct. 1/2. I would like to organize a group of 5 or more people to prepare

and deliver vegan meals (breakfasts and possibly also lunches and dinners)

to local radio station dj's and t.v. station newscasters. In addition, we

would provide literature and videos about factory farming, genetic

engineering of farm animals, Mad Cow disease, and the divers benefits of a

vegan diet.

Additional helpers would be necessary for contacting the radio and t.v.

stations prior to the event and for preparing the information packet. Some

people could also help by preparing food the night prior to the event.

At least one meeting will be required to discuss menu options, availability

of participants, and recommendations for stations to visit. The more

volunteers, the more stations we can deliver to.

I do not have funding for this event, and I think that it is too late to

apply for it or solicit donations from organizations. Consequently, each

volunteer (or anyone else who would like to) would be asked to contribute a

portion of the total cost of the event. I would not expect anyone to

contribute more than $25.
