There was a post on where are the Young vegetarians

especially females, here's one place where they hang

out. They have MORE female members than male members,

see photo. I was involved with their meat out this

year and I had a ball! The people are very nice.

 

Also one reason some organizations have lack of women

attendance is due to the treatment of women. If a

woman is treated like crap by a

rude/impolite/outrageous person why would they show up

again? This has happened to me more than once. Even

though I approached the person the problem, he/she did

not even offer an apology.

 

It's too bad there's a few bad apples out there.

 

Currently, thanks to this fabulous list, I met so many

New dynamic vegetarian friends! I'm so amazed how

many vegetarians are out there in the Bay Area.

 

I hope my new friends will " come out of their closet " .

 

I belong organizations where there are high female

attendance. Something like this doesn't come by

accident.

upcoming World Vegetarian Day (video showing and

possible sign painting?). Recipe of the Week: Oatmeal

Raisin Cookies (fresh from the oven!)
