serves smoothes, juices such as wheat grass, espress and teas.

 

According to their voice mail, Raw Foods for sale Tue & Thur 6-11pm.

But the sign on the doors said Thursday only starting at 7pm.

 

Food is prepared by RawGirl.

Their voice mail hours conflict with the sign on their door.

 

Maybe it's best to confirm with Oxygen bar their exact schedule since

it constantly changes. A year ago, the preparer of Raw Foods had car

problems and can't get to Oxygen on time, so my friends and I did not

get any raw foods that day. So, it never hurt to call ahead.

 

If you are not observant, the place is hard to find cause it is

surrounded by many neighborhood signs. Also, it's 3 blocks from

Herbivore.

Well, the O2 part is the chemistry symbol for the oxygen molecule. I

think that the 2202 number is a play on that to create an

" interesting " , futuristic number. Kind of like the way that naming a

bar or club 2001 was cool a few years back...

 

I visited the Oxygen Bar once a few months ago. It was pretty cool,

but almost totally dead on a Saturday night. Of course, that was a

rainy night in December, so that could've had something to do with it.

I tried the scented oxygen (no noticeable effect), an herbal tonic

(tasty) and the " light and sound machine " they had on the menu (very

trippy!).
