Guest guest
Peasant Pies sells yummy vegan pies in Noe Valley. Their dessert pies are OK (not exceptional), but their regular pies are awesome little meals. Mmmmmm, eggplant pies are really goood - also, the curry one is great. 4108 24th Street (at Castro) Also, 1039 Irving Street I like that they don't heat them in a microwave, but in a pizza oven instead. I stumbled upon their Noe Valley outlet recently, not imagining for a minute that they'd actually have vegan food. The counter person was very enthusiastic about veg*nism. He explained that people complain that they don't sell chicken or beef pies. I've since found their pies at a health food store as well. Super yummy treats! ~Caity (I'm not a worker or owner of Peasant Pies nor spouse/friend/lover/guardian/partner of a Peasant Pies worker/owner)
Guest guest
By the way, One of the two owners of Peasant Pie is a vegetarian. Also available at Rainbows. If you want to see a photo of the owners, go to the Irving St store. The cross street is around 14th Ave. While you're there, stop by my favorite bike store " Roaring Mouse " , Irving and 15th Ave, Chris is one of the most honest and knowledgable bike owners around. Chris is not vegetarian but he has lots of vegetarian biking friends. (one friend has a 12 year old " life time " vegetarian kid who decided not to eat meat by choice) (I am only passing helpful info to others..I do not have any interests in the above stores) , " startherehealth " <caity@S...> wrote: > Peasant Pies sells yummy vegan pies in Noe Valley.
