Guest guest
I just want to show off that Diana, Nora and I delivered vegan breakfasts to 2 radio stations this morning - with tremendous publicity success for World Farm Animals' Day and World Vegetarian Day! The DJs on Alice Radio not only ate the food, but talked about veganism for a good 10 minutes. They loved the food so much - they interviewed Nora about veganism and were really respectful to her. This is exceptional, since I've heard the morning Alice Radio DJs talk down to vegetarianism in the past. Please take a moment to thank Alice Radio's morning show for discussing veganism and the treatment of farm animals: Sarah: http://www.radioalice.com/contact_alice/sarah.shtml No Name (that's his name): http://www.radioalice.com/contact_alice/noname.shtml We're psyched! We'll be delivering more yummy vegan food to radio/TV shows soon. Please email Diana at dianabananam if you'd like to help volunteer for future deliveries! ~Caity caity

Guest guest
Dear Caity & other friends, This is *SUCH* great news! Thanks so much for sharing - it's not " showing off " at all; it's just a reminder of how (relatively) easy it can be to turn people onto veggie eating. I just heard Julia Butterfly Hill talk about how she's a " JOYFUL " vegan, emphasizing the joy of eating delicious foods that step lightly on the planet, honor the human body, and treat other beings with respect and kindness. She said that she never says she's a vegan; she always says she's a JOYFUL vegan. Mike Rogala says that food is the currency of the veg movement, and I think he's right. I'm so delighted that all of your wonderful efforts were well-rewarded with a super positive plug for v-ism. Way to go, all of you! Congratulations, Diane, on spearheading such a superb effort. Congratulations, Nora, on doing such a wonderful interview (dang - I would have loved to have heard that!). And congratulations to the whole team (I heard there was a fair bit of work, and a whole lot of yummy food involved!).
