I e-mailed the group " Second Harvest " about how they spend any

donations they receive from this site. Specifically, I asked them if

they buy any living or dead animals to pass on to needy people.

Their response is -- Thank you very much for writing to our

agency; however, the USDA is one of

our largest contributors. Many needy and unfortunate Americans do not

have

the ability to pick and choose what types of food they eat; they are

grateful for anything that is given to them, as they are starving.

Anyways, I still click on the Breast Cancer, RainForest and the

PetFood tab. Does anyone know anything negative about the National

Breast Cancer Association? Thanks, Tracy

-Breast Cancer Assoc. tests on animals.

-Rainforest Site supports Nature Conservancy, which is not animal-friendly (they

were part of the horrific aerial shoots of the feral sheep on Santa Cruz island.

They have a secondary link to feed animals in the shelter. I think they

feed pet food made of dead animals to the dogs and cats.

I'm not opposed to dogs and cats eating other animals, so I am

wondering if I should care if hungry people do the same?

Thoughts?
