includes tax, tip and drinks, 10 course dinner. We will eat at

5:20pm. Payment for the dine-out will take place at the restaurant.

Hulu House Vegetarian Restaurant

Cuisine: Singapore, Malaysian, and Chinese.

 

(Hulu means Gourd in Mandarin)

All of Hulu House's workers are Buddhist vegetarians and the

restaurant uses new pots and pans that NEVER touched meat.

 

Travel tips: Hulu House is a 30 min ride on the N Judah streetcar

from downtown SF. The Muni #6 and #66 buses are also available from

downtown and pass within 3 blocks of the restaurant.

 

10 Course Menu:

1. Laksa *,Malaysian noodle soup,

2. Nasi Lemak, Malaysian coconut rice,

3. Curry Rice, Singapore style or

4. Hai Nan Rice, Lemon grass, ginger.

 

5. Spring roll-not fried

 

6. Fancy Appetizer Platter consisting of:

Fried Bean Cured " goose " , Hulu's Tofu, marinated 5 spice tofu,

BBQ " pork " from Malaysia, and " ham "

 

7. preserved Chinese Cabbage

8. preserved Jicama with Chilis

 

9. stir fry mixed veg (with special white sauce), and

10. Mixed Veg Fried Rice Chinese style

Drinks: green tea, chrysthathamum tea (decaf)
