Guest guest
The Blue Angels will be flying around 3pm. So get to the World Veg Day Early. I recommend taking public transportation, carpool, or if you NEED to drive, get there early. You'll be fighting the traffic with OVER 100,000 people. I heard there will be a million people watching, that might include 800,000 residences that live in SF. ---------- ---- Event Info: (415) 487-6453 10/12/2002 - 10/13/2002 Sat, Sun 12:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Part of Fleet Week Fisherman's Wharf and the Embarcadero San Francisco, CA ---------------------- The big event. Guest guest
well, i don't know about anyone else, but i've been scared silly by the news of the " competition " on sunday. the thought of driving into s.f. along with a million other people is about as appealing as a slab of meat! but public transit would take 1.5 hrs each way for me. anybody planning to carpool from the east bay? or does anyone know of a route from bart that's flat enough for biking with a 10-speed (for someone not in good enough shape for uphill biking)? thanks. ciao, diana >sunny outdoors <sunny_outdoors > >[sFBAVeg] Oct 13, same day as World Veg day >Wed, 9 Oct 2002 15:36:05 -0700 (PDT) >MIME-Version: 1.0 >Received: from n6.grp.scd. Guest guest
Take the Embarcadero all the way around from the Embarcadero BART station. It's a very easy, flat ride pretty much all of the way.
