Guest guest
Dear Friends, As many of you know, the San Francisco Walk for Farmed Animals will be happening on SUNDAY, OCTOBER 27TH, FROM 12 NOON - 3 PM (meet at 12 noon at Justin Herman Plaza in SF, begin walking at 12:30 pm, post-walk rally from 2 - 3 pm). If you had been hoping to pick up a walkathon packet, but just hadn't had the time, *this* Sunday is your big chance! Come on over to the PETA booth in the exhibit hall of the San Francisco Veg Society celebration of World Vegetarian Day to pick up your very own walk packet. The packet contains all kinds of wet-nosed, furry-limbed reasons to support Farm Sanctuary, offers tips on how to hit up your favorite relatives for some walk pledges, gives you all the info you'll need for the logistics of the SF walk, and a flyer you can post in your local health food store, library, or hardware supply outlet. So, come on down to the PETA booth in the exhibit hall at Fort Mason, this Sunday, from 10 am - 4:30 pm, and join in the walking fun. Cheers, Alka
