It turned out to be a great event!...Flacos is excited to be back in the East Bay this coming Saturday 10/19/02. This week we will be serving Chalupitas and Flautas in Berkeley! Chalupita: Savory russet potatoes cooked in a zesty salsa, topped with lettuce, tomatoes and cheese (vegan), served inside a delicious edible boat made from corn masa! Flautas: Thick veggie chicken rolled up in a corn tortilla and fried to perfection! Prices - $4.00 for one Chalupita or 2 Flautas. Don't be fooled, these aren't your average size servings! ... salsa and sour cream (vegan), no charge. As always, Flacos strives to use organic ingredients as availability permits.
