Guest guest
so my understanding is that the only place to get vegan marshmallows was from Emes, who is now out of business. is that still the case? are there ANY other companies that make vegan marshmallows. i'd really like to NOT have to make them myself! thanks! --------------------- " As long as people will shed the blood of innocent creatures there can be no peace, no liberty, no harmony between people. Guest guest
Hi Colleen: I think this came up on the group a while ago, and the sad news was that vegan marshmallows are nowhere to be found. However, I think you can make them yourself (if you dare to deal with the mess). If anyone has a recipe, please post it! Claudia , " Colleen A. Guest guest
I don't know anything about it, but I know food fight wouldn't carry it if they thought it wasn't vegan, they are definitely pretty hardcore about it. In fact, you could probably email them and ask, I'm sure they'd answer you promptly, they always do when I email them!! cherrie - <quintmom Tuesday, June 28, 2005 11:50 AM Re: Vegan Marshmallows > Thanx, Cherrie. I think someone in vegancooking (or maybe it was veganpeople?) posted Bryanna Clark Grogan's letter about Emes. She told why she doesn't believe the rumor that it's not vegan. You can see her comments at http://www.bryannaclarkgrogan.com/page/page/593450.htm#41614 . While she's got some good points, I don't think the issue is definitively settled, but if it has been, I hope someone will post a link. Guest guest
Yeah, we use something similar to fluff (made by Suzanne's) at home but at camp they want to do what the other kids do and roast the marshmallows.
