Hi everyone!

Since I had originally posted this pretty early, thought I'd send out a

reminder since our Vegan Food Party is only a couple of weeks away. We are

looking forward to celebrating World Vegan Day with ya!

Cheers,

Tammy

We have had some really great food, fun, and conversations at previous Vegan

Food Parties (VFPs). So, of course, what's the obvious way to celebrate

World Vegan Day -- a Vegan Food Party! We've been making our way around

the Bay Area, and we're heading to San Jose this time.

Saturday 11/2/02

Time: 2 pm

Location: Lori's, in San Jose

What to bring to the VFP:

1) Vegan food to share (please see details

http://www.generationv.org/vfpdetails.htm)

2) Your family/friends who always ask " What do you eat?! "

Our hostess Lori adds: " I will supply an assortment of food items as well

as non-alcoholic drinks. This will be an indoor/outdoor event, so weather is

not an issue. Feel free to bring CD's for music, musical instruments and/or

games. Children and friendly, well behaved dogs are welcome (i.e. your dog

must be friendly to strangers, small children, and the one cat and two dogs

that live here). In addition, they must not " steal " food from humans. I'll

supply doggie biscuits for our four legged guests! "

Due to the public nature of our archives, please RSVP directly to Lori at

lori_nami for map/location. If you are bringing a four-legged

friend with you, please let Lori known in advance so there will be enough

doggie biscuits available. (Note to SFBAVeg'ers reading this message in

the archives: this e-mail address will appear incomplete, but if you select

the email link in the message, will present a message box for

you to email Lori directly).

So, in honor of World Vegan Day, bring along some pre-vegan friends so they

can sample the delights of vegan food.

It'd be great to have a VFP every month; so, if you're interest in hosting

one, please contact me.

Cheers,

Tammy
