I recently walked by on my way home from Cha-Ya and noticed " Vegan Tofu Scramble " on the menu. I get a kick out of the place myself, but I don't care too much if my tofu scramble is prepared on the same grill as eggs were, so caveat emptor. The feel is a cross between an all-night downtown diner counter and a cookout prepared by a Green Tortoise driver wearing a sweaty tie-die shirt. It's very casual-friendly. If you're super-squeamish about cleanliness or purity you might want to pass.
