Guest guest
I'm new to this list. My name is Lori Nova and I teach people how to make their own products. I am a vegetarian myself and try to support other vegetarian/vegan companies whenever possible. You all know how hard it can be to find vegan products and often when you find them, they are expensive. Why not learn how to make your own products for yourself and to give as gifts for the upcoming holidays? I use all vegan ingredients in all my classes.* I have a bath salts & body scrubs class this coming weekend, Sunday, 10/27 from 12 noon to 3 pm that still has a few openings in it. I also do an all-natural facial product class and a melt & pour soap crafting class. The classes are $30 each and are taught in Berkeley at Juniper Tree. You can view the entire calendar and find out more information by visiting my website http://www.gardengirlproducts.com or feel free to call me at 510-710-0914. Thanks! Lori ) * The only non-vegan class is a new candle making class. I'll be doing an overview of candle types and showing people how to make several types of candles: beeswax rolled candles (for people who want a natural alternative to paraffin), soywax (vegan) container candles, and paraffin votives (if you are wondering, the reason I chose to include paraffin is to show people that this is the main type of wax that is used in candles and that, in my opinion, it's not the best thing for you or the environment). My classes are very research and learing-based (as opposed to just doing) so part of this class is the opportunity to educate people. Guest guest
---Hi Lori, I think this is a great thing you are doing! I am constantly looking for vegan products. Wondering if the cost of the class includes the supplies? let me know, I am interested in taking one of your classes! stephanie Lori Nova <lori wrote: > I'm new to this list.
