Meeks now open on SAT NIGHT thanks to better business, + restaurant updates

Dear Friends:

We're glad to see the restaurant picking up the pace,

and are very grateful to you for making it

happen.

This week, we're including in the menu a number of

personal requests by some of you, so don't look

for any particular scheme in it...

Of course - feel free to make your own requests and we

will include them in the next " by request "

menu

 

Due to the change in the sun schedule, we're now able

to open on Saturday evening!

Starting this week, we'll be open for dinner on

Saturdays from 7pm.

On Fridays, we'll be closing on 4pm.

 

The Israeli brunch is on as usual Sunday morning,

featuring Shakshuka, Israeli salad, cheese

platters, toasted challa, and various other treats

(French toasts, blueberry muffins, scones, and more)

 

Many people have inquired about our menus for Chanuka

and Thanksgiving. so:

We will offer our thanksgiving menu for the week of

November 25th.

At Rabbi Levin's suggestion, we will offer the Greek

menu for the week of Chanuka, following it.

We will start offering our selection of sufganiot,

latkes and other chanuka treats in a few days,

all the way through chanuka.

 

As long as we're planning ahead, next week's (November

11th) menu theme will be Tunisian, followed

by French.

Today, I bumped into a healthy, vibrant, good looking

veggie lady at Organic Cafe. Sebrina B. is a veggie

since 6 years old cause she doesn't want to kill

animals.

 

Wow, that's so great! She's not only beautiful

outside but inside as well with a very wonderful

personality. She's currently studying at UC Berkeley.

I hope she'll join all the Bay Area veggie groups

soon.

 

I invited her to A LOT OF veggie parties coming up,

and we hope to meet all of you.

 

It's really great to meet great veggie people. She

said she says she also knows 5 veggie friends that out

there. That's more friends in our community.
