I will be there, Sat afternoon, wearing my GREEN

vegetarian TShirt. EVents like this will make more

environmentalist become vegetarian. (p.s. I

personally know a few environmentalists trying to be

vegetarians)

 

I just realized that Haveli 35-6th St is only l/2

mile from the event. Pick up a breakfast or

lunch..while you're in the area. I'm not sure what

kind of vegan breakfast they have. Lots of 30min

parking in front. I think it's 25cents for 10min

meter parking. Don't worry about the folks that are

standing around, they won't bother you. They know

they can go to jail for harrassing people. Worse,

they will loose their subsidized apartment.

Volunteers are vegetarians too. At several of their

parties 100% vegetarian meals were served

A VERY strong organization, based in Palo Alto, they

used to have vegan fundraising parties.

 

Laura Stec works there. She will speak at the Next

Nov 11 (Monday)Pennisulamacro dinners.

 

This organization just had a silent auction for an NEW

$20k electric car! Now, that's a REALLY great

fundraiser items.

They promote ecotourism rather whale hunting. Educate

people NOT to eat bush meat (gorilla), shark fin, etc.

 

I am currently, managing and recruiting any computer

volunteers for this organization.

 

Non computer volunteers and interns also welcome.

Jacob the Office and Financial Manager is a vegan.
