Hay,

Is it possible for people who live in the south bay to join in the

protest? There are several Whole Foods down here (palo alto,

capertino). But no caltrain up to SF on weekends. Email me with

suggestions or if anyone else is interested.

thanks

Whole Foods: Doing Diddly-Squat for the Ducks

Suffering Inside Grimaud's Factory Farms

Demonstrate outside of Whole Foods

When: Saturday, November 9th: 11:00 am until 1

Where: 1765 California St, SF (Corner of California &

Franklin)

Why: Whole Foods continues to sell duck meat from

ducks who have the tips of their bills cut off and who are

deprived of all but the minimal contact with water. Even though Whole

Foods claims to be working with this farm, these horrible

conditions have not changed.

Whole Foods claims to care strongly about animal

welfare and to have a high standard of quality

control. Come educate Whole Foods' customers on the

sham behind this rhetoric. Signs and leaflets will be

provided.

For more information about this event please contact

ARDAC at

(415) 364-3053 or info@a...

For more information about the campaign please check

out http://www.vivausa.org/

Please also write Whole Foods' directly. If you shop

at Whole Foods, please speak to your store manager

about this issue and ask them to dump Grimaud.
