Wild Flexing is Outlawed

Before we have, as bigvegman said, any more wild flexing of literary might,

I would like to remind everyone that we do have a Charter. That Charter

*is* enforced by the LIst Administrators. As specifically stated in the

Charter:

 

" ... in order to maintain decorum, posters are urged to always show respect

for the views of others, even if they disagree with the views expressed.

When disagreeing with views expressed on SFBAVeg posters are urged to

disagree with the views expressed and not with the poster personally. "

 

Some of you might not believe this, but we actually have invested a large

amount of time in building this online veg*n community. It was definitely

not part of our vision to create a community of 600+ people so a few

individuals can come and spout off messages that are more opinion than basis

in truth. That type of messages is NOT APPROPRIATE to send to the SFBAVeg

list.

 

If it's not civil, if it's not on-topic, take it elsewhere.

 

We all live our lives differently, and it is our differences that make us a

vibrant community. You are welcome to express your opinion as long as you

do it with civility, and it is on-topic.

 

I am disappointed that a couple of folks thought it timely to judge a

slideshow that they have never seen. What does anyone gain by belittling

anyone's efforts to help the animals by educating others? We all lose here,

but most especially the animals.
