Guest guest
If Jesus witnessed modern " factory farming, " he would find widespread animal mistreatment and suffering, and he would recognize that its wastefulness contributes heavily to environmental degradation and world hunger. We believe he would become vegetarian. Is vegetarianism biblical? The Bible depicts vegetarianism as God's ideal, and the diet conforms to the central biblical principle of stewardship. In Eden, God foudn everything " very good " immediately after giving all animals (and humans) a vegetarian diet (Gen 1:29-30). Several prophecies, such as Isa 11:6-9, foresee a return to this ideal, vegetarian world, where the wolf will dwell with the lamb... the lion shall eat straw like the ox... [and] they shall neither hurt nor destroy in all [God's] holy mountain. (Source, Christianveg.com) Feel free to forward this message to others.
