veg*n singles event

I wonder if we could have some kind of event that would give vegan/vegetarian

singles (straight, gay, lesbian, bi, whatever) the opportunity to meet and get

to know one another in a comfortable, no-pressure setting. However, while I've

pondered this of late, I'm admittedly a poor organizer. I don't even have any

real ideas about what exactly such an event would be: I have only this vague,

persistent notion of connecting with other singles who live by veg*n values, and

want to get a sense of whether others feel similarly.

 

Therefore, I am putting this out there to see if anyone else would be interested

in collaboratively organizing a singles event. Essentially, at this point, I'm

hoping to convene a small planning committee to brainstorm possibilities and

come up with an event idea that will appeal to a fair number of singles. I can

host up to 5 people at my apartment in the Richmond District for discussion over

potluck dinner. If the response to this is overwhelming and the group is larger,

we could go to a restaurant, or maybe someone will graciously offer us their

house. (All beyond my wilder expectations, but you never know...)

 

Well, people...whaddya say?!
