Guest guest
I'm 34 and the last person I was seriously involved with was 54. I wrote to the event organizer and said I'd like the age range to be broader. A group with only 20 and 30-somethings would feel a bit limited to me. I think the single thing is a really good idea for those that enjoy that kind of thing. I'm a bit offended that you would put an age limit on it. Yes, you guessed it, I'm over 40. I've been left out of your age range. So, now that I've been insulted (unintentionally of course), it is unlikely that I will get involved with you young whipper snappers. However, for future sake, you may want to reconsider eliminating a particular cross section of folks. You may be old someday yourself (if you're lucky). I'm curious, what kind of " ism " would we label this form of prejudice? Ageism? This e-mail was sent with the intention of being humorous, but also alerting you to the reality of age discrimination. Getting older is already challenging enough, but then you have to deal with these types of situtations. Best of luck and have fun! Syndee P.S. Just so you know, even over 40 year olds can be a hell of a lot of fun!
