As a long time single person (I'm 47) I see no

discrimination in having a target age group and

actually think it is a good idea. And that is because

frequently I have gone to a singles event where

everyone is much older or much younger and I feel out

of place and won't go back. I would have liked to

have know what the general age group was. But

obviously I wouldn't care if some were in a different

age group.

I think that a good solution is to have a target age

group as this one has but everyone outside that age

group is still welcome but that way everyone knows

what the general age group is. Otherwise singles

groups often tend to become lopsided either on the

younger side or the older side and this is a way to

prevent that without any discrimination intended.
